How to Play Bingo Shout

Bingo Shout is a realtime multiplayer bingo game for two players. Every player gets their own 5x5 board filled with the numbers 1 to 25, shuffled randomly at the start of every game, so no two boards are ever the same.

Calling numbers

Players take strict turns calling numbers. On your turn, tap any uncalled number on your own board to call it. The number is announced on both phones instantly and marked on every board automatically. You can switch Auto-mark off if you prefer to mark manually.

Winning

Every completed row, column, or diagonal earns you one BINGO letter, tracked on the progress bar above your board. Collect all five letters B-I-N-G-O before your opponent, then hit SHOUT BINGO! to win the match.

Rooms

Tap Create Room to get a 6-letter room code, a QR code, and a shareable link. Your friend scans the QR code or types the code to join. The host taps START GAME when both players are in. Rooms are 2-player matches with alternating turns.

How Bingo Shout Works

Bingo Shout is a single-page web app: the entire game lives in one index.html file, hosted as a static site on Cloudflare Pages. It loads fast in any phone browser with nothing to install.

Realtime multiplayer runs on Google Firebase Realtime Database. Room codes, player lists, turns, called numbers, and winners sync instantly between phones, even when the two players are on different mobile networks.

Identity is flexible: play instantly as a guest with a nickname, which is stored only in your browser, or optionally sign in with Google to keep the same name across devices. The win/loss leaderboard below is stored on this device only.
